Welcome to the Whippoorwill Resort

Whippoorwill Resort is a wonderful family resort and a fisherman’s paradise! We invite you to come and stay with us and enjoy Minnesota’s spectacular lake country. Nestled among the tall pines on Upper Bottle Lake, the resort is ideally located just 14 miles from Park Rapids and 16 miles from Itasca State Park. Wake each morning to the call of the loon and enjoy your morning coffee on your deck while watching an eagle soar over the water. End your day with a family gathering around the campfire while watching the sun drop behind the horizon.

Whether you enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming, hiking, or just relaxing on a wonderful sandy beach, Whippoorwill Resort is the place for family fun!

We will be handing out flyers, inspecting all boat launches and educating our guests as much as possible about what can be done to help prevent the spread of these non-native species to Minnesota.
